In Loving Memory of Hugh Donnan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a true legend in our football community, Hugh Donnan. Hugh's dedication and love for the game were unparalleled, and his contributions have left an indelible mark on our club.

Hugh was instrumental in establishing and managing various Junior Football age groups, working tirelessly alongside Bill Paul and Ernie Cant. He was not only a pioneer but also a mentor to countless young footballers, nurturing their love for the beautiful game.

In the early 80s, Hugh played a vital role in fundraising for the clubhouse extension on Low Catton Road, ensuring our club's legacy would continue to grow. His passion for the sport and unwavering commitment to the community made him a constant and beloved figure around the village.

The funeral will take place on Friday, October 20th, at 3:30 PM at Octon.

Our deepest condolences go out to Mary and all of Hugh's family during this difficult time. Hugh's spirit and love for football will forever be a part of our club's history.

Rest in peace, Hugh Donnan. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew you. 🙏⚽
